Another PC game belonging to a series of bus simulators published over the years by astragon Entertainment. Developed by StillAlive, the game includes vehicles from such brands as MAN or Daimler Buses, and gives us an opportunity to explore one of the German towns. Apart from driving as such, the player also has to interact with passengers (selling tickets for instance) and cope with various random occurrences. The career mode rewards being professional, being on time in different places, and driving with respect for law. The game can be experienced both solo or in the synchronous multiplayer mode, which is included in the game. American Truck Simulator
Simulation 02 February 2016
The next installment in the popular truck simulation game series with an additional economic layer. The product was created by Czech studio SCS Software, who previously created its sister game - Euro Truck Simulator - and the 18 Wheels of Steel franchise. The game lets you play as a driver of a mighty 18-wheeler, whose career takes him from being an ordinary full-time corporation worker to an owner of a prosperous transport company. Gameplay mechanics is close to the previous games from SCS Software, except this time you get to traverse the key highways of the United States and Canada. The authors not only took care to faithfully recreate the American road map and its landmarks, but also implemented a wide selection of the most popular trucks on the continent.
Euro Truck Simulator 2: Scandinavian Expansion
Simulation 07 May 2015
The second large expansion to a popular economic game simulating truck driving, created by Czech studio SCS Software. As the title suggests, the add-on expands the game’s map by three Scandinavian countries: Denmark, Norway, and Sweden, and their respective road networks. During your career as a virtual driver you can visit such cities as Copenhagen, Oslo, Bergen, Malmo, and Karlskrona. The locations were recreated based on authentic maps and photos. There are many other landmarks, including the headquarters of the famous car manufacturers Scania and Volvo. The game also introduces new types of roads and crossroads, and since most of Scandinavian trade is moved by sea, you will be visiting several well-known harbors. Finally, you get to admire the beautiful mountain landscapes and have to deal with tough weather conditions typical of this part of the continent.

An economic strategy game created by an experienced studio, Gaming Minds, in which the player becomes an owner of a railroad company. Their task is to take control of the entire market and turn their company into an empire. Since the game takes place in XIX and XX century, the technology of the entire society is constantly changing. The key to success is to not only build new railroads and invest in new trains and train stations but also to use innovative technologies (divided into five historical periods), build factories, buildings in which you can repair your vehicles and provide tourists with attractions. Our competition, controlled by AI, is always on our heels – the fight for keeping our position on the market requires us to hire spies and saboteurs. Railway Empire offers a campaign mode and single missions, in which players must complete very specific goals. In addition to the aforementioned modes the players can also select a free mode that allows them to develop their virtual business without any goals imposed on them.

Transport Fever is an economic strategy by a Swiss studio, Urban Games. The previous game by this team was Train Fever, released in 2014. Contrary to that title, in Transport Fever the developers decided to offer not only land-based transport management, but aerial and marine transport as well. The goal of this game hasn't changed however - it still is about developing an efficient transport network connecting different locations, and allowing smooth transportation of goods and passengers. In Transport Fever players need to design routes and railways, erect strategic buildings such as railway stations, airports, and docking bays. The network has to be maintained and upgraded to meet the increasing demands of the market. The whole transport empire is strictly dependent on the economy; the game requires a reasonable management of the funds.

The Vive la France! expansion does not introduce any changes to the gameplay mechanics or technology employed by the game. It focuses mainly on expanding the game area with the territory of virtual France. In the base game, only a small part of this country was recreated. Now, the players receive the virtual representation of the entire country and a much more detailed map. Apart from that, the already existing regions of France (Paris for example), were rebuilt in order to match the level of details delivered by the expansion.

Euro Truck Simulator
Simulation 20 August 2008
An arcade simulator of powerful trucks, developed by the experienced Czech studio SCS Software. Unlike the previous games created by this company (Hard Truck and 18 Wheels of Steel series), this title concentrates on European roads and vehicles, which were recreated with minute attention to detail. The gameplay focuses on traveling through Europe and delivering various types of cargo to selected destinations. During the missions the player visits streets of some famous European cities, including Rome, Berlin, Madrid and Prague. The cities feature their characteristic architecture and recognizable locations. The game is powered by the same engine that was used in the previous games developed by SCS, albeit greatly improved. Thanks to that, the routes are longer, the areas are larger and the vehicle models are even more detailed.

Simulation 25 August 2016
Yet another simulation game developed by TML-Studios. The game has been created in cooperation with FlixBus - one of the largest intercity coach operators in Germany. Fernbus Simulator allows the players to assume the role of a bus driver shuttling between several metropolises that include Berlin, Frankfurt, Hamburg, and Dortmund. Apart from driving the vehicle, the player has to tend to a number of other things, such as selling tickets. While driving a bus, one has to stay focused - developers have prepared over 20 thousand kilometers of roads that might be quite busy - which might result in an accident, if caution is not exercised. Additionally, driving conditions are affected by the changing weather conditions, the day and night cycle, and changing seasons of the year. Even though the visuals are not stunning, the well-modelled bus cockpits deserve a praise - an additional treat for the players lies in the functionalities such as the possibility to make announcements to the passengers that are currently on the bus.
Bus Simulator 16
Simulation 02 March 2016
Another installment of a simulator series allowing you to play as a driver of public transport bus, developed by the British company Astragon. In contrast to previous entries in the series, the game was developed by the Austrian studio StillAlive, previously known for the action adventure game, Son of Nor. The new developer made sure that player's role is not limited only to driving, but reflects all aspects of a bus driver's work as closely as possible. Therefore, during the game we are also responsible for, among others, interactions with passengers, ticket sales, and dealing with various random situations that can happen in urban transport. Bus Simulator 16 introduces a reputation system in which our popularity changes depending on how well we fulfill our responsibilities. The passengers' trust, which translates directly into revenue and business development, depends on our actions.

An open-world economic tycoon game that focuses on managing a railroad company. The credit for developing this title goes to a Czech gamemaker - Jan Zeleny, who worked on the game for many years. Inspired by such classics as Transport Tycoon or Railroad Tycoon II, Mashinky gives us an opportunity to lay tracks, build and upgrade stations, work on new models of engines, and even to view the game world through the eyes of a train driver in charge of keeping the machine on the route set by the player. Apart from an FPP view and an aerial view, which is typical for strategies, Mashinky brings a special, schematic-isometric perspective that displays the map in the form of a legible engineering grid. This view mode is used to create new intersections of tracks and to mark spots for new structures. The game's economic system is definitely its distinctive feature, as it is not based on virtual money, but rather, on tokens inspired by board games. Those can be obtained through completing various assignments, and can be spent, for instance, on upgrading one's rolling stock - the electric tokens obtained through delivering fuel to a power plant allow the player to make progress towards electric trains. Because the game world is generated procedurally, each playthrough is a unique adventure.
