game release date for PC:
Oregon is the title of the second (after New Mexico) large expansion pack to American Truck Simulator, the truck driver simulator developed by SCS Software. Similarly to the basic version of the game, the expansion was released only on PC.
American Truck Simulator: Oregon doesn’t introduce any revolutionary changes to the gameplay mechanics. Instead, the developers focused on introducing another state – the titular Oregon, also known as “the state of the beavers.” The developers put effort into recreating the region in the most faithful way possible. It was hard because the environment of the region is very diverse. During the journey, the players can watch beautiful coasts and river valleys, large forests, and high mountains. The developers also recreated the varied demography of Oregon and industrial conditions, including the Silicon Forest – a place where many IT companies have their quarters.
American Truck Simulator: Oregon doesn’t change the graphics features in the base game. Because it is not a stand-alone expansion pack, it requires the basic version of the game to work. It includes new Steam achievements that can be unlocked.
