A large expansion for the best-selling simulator about driving trucks. American Truck Simulator: South Dakota allows us to visit the titular American state, featuring beautiful valleys, plateaus, mountains and canyons. There are also villages and cities, including the capital - Pierre.
American Truck Simulator: South Dakota is the eighteenth major expansion to the simulation game dedicated to truck driving, titled American Truck Simulator. The base game was released back in 2016. The expansion was developed by SCS Software studio, which created the original version of the game and oversees its development.
American Truck Simulator: South Dakota takes us to the titular American state. South Dakota is covered by a network of roads, among which two main interstate highways dominate: Interstate 90 cuts through the southern part of the state, running from east to west, while Interstate 29 cuts through the eastern region, running from north to south. We can carry out orders for transporting various loads (agriculture dominates here, although there are also mines and forestry companies), and we also admire the views.
The titular state is flat valleys in the east, which smoothly transition into plateaus, hills and canyons in the west. Geographical regions such as Badlands (famous for paleontological sites) or the densely forested Black Hills, as well as Mount Rushmore, are waiting to be visited here. Additionally, we can visit cities like Sioux Falls, Mitchell and Rapid City, as well as smaller, picturesque settlements like Deadwood, Wall or Sturgis. The heart of the state is its capital - Pierre. It is worth stopping by to admire its interesting landmarks.
American Truck Simulator: South Dakota is a non-standalone expansion, so it requires the base version of American Truck Simulator.
