Aquarium Designer PC

Aquarium Designer is a simulation game about designing and constructing various types of aquariums, both for personal use and customized for the client. It was developed by Polish Sigur Studio and published by PlayWay S.A., which has a wide range of simulators in its portfolio.

Mechanics

In the game we have three game modes: career, free play and realistic. In the first one, the gameplay is about taking orders from various clients and creating aquariums for them according to the guidelines given by them. Among the clients we can find both private persons looking for decorations for their homes, as well as restaurants, hotels or offices. On the other hand, in free play we can set everything up as we like, remembering only that each fish requires specific conditions for survival.

Aquarium Designer provides us with many methods of constructing unique fish habitats. In the available panels, we choose aquarium sizes, shapes, bottom type, devices for filtering the water and controlling its temperature, decorations (such as plants or rocks) and types of fish that will live in the aquarium. Keep in mind that not all fish can live side by side, and each fish requires appropriate living conditions. All decorations, in turn, cost a certain amount of cash, which we earn by completing orders. The better we complete the assigned task, the greater the chance that the client will give us a positive opinion - and this in turn translates into receiving further, more lucrative orders. In addition to cash, for completed tasks we also get special points. After earning the appropriate number of points, we unlock new possibilities of decorating the aquariums and placing in them more species of fish.

Technical aspects

The game features a simple, pleasant to the eye graphics. The look of the fish, reproduced with great attention to detail, and the variety of available aquarium decorations deserve special attention.
