Ascension: Chronicle of the Godslayer Description
Ascension: Chronicle of the Godslayer is a card set in a fantasy world. What distinguishes the game from other positions of this type is the fact that all players have identical cards at first and build their deck during duels, not before them. The game was developed by Incinerator Studios.
Mechanics
Each duel starts in the same way - both sides are given ten cards of the same kind, which they can freely use. The remaining cards are placed in the central point of the table and the players use the available means to either get them or destroy. The latter scenario allows you to earn so-called honor points. The person who gets the most of them wins the game.
With identical starting decks, players start from the same level - this excludes situations where more experienced players have a better deck and almost automatically defeat newcomers. The above gameplay mechanic also requires more flexibility, creativity and a purely strategic approach.
Ascension: Chronicle of the Godslayer also offers the ability to play with an AI opponent and participate in online tournaments.
