Baseball Riot is an arcade and logic game released for PSV, XONE, etc. It is the successor to Tennis in the Face. Both games were developed by 10tons studio.
Players play the legendary batter Gabe Carpaccio, whose career ended with an accident during the match. The protagonist then took over the sale of used sports equipment. The retirement is interrupted by the emergence of the ruthless Explodz corporation in the city. The corporation buys Carpaccio's former team and after its members have become addicted to an aggressive energy drink, it intends to do the same with all the inhabitants of the city. Gabe abandons the peaceful life of a retired man and intends to save his former colleagues and ordinary citizens with a baseball bat.
Baseball Riot's gameplay mechanisms do not differ much from Tennis in the Face. Our task in every level is to eliminate all enemies by hitting them with the ball. This is not easy, as they often hide behind obstacles - it takes clever use of ricochets to hit them. In addition, the maps are full of interactive objects and with a bit of luck you can trigger powerful chain reactions, capable of eliminating several people at the same time. The gameplay is based on a realistic physical engine that allows you to effectively predict how the ball will behave.
The game also has maps full of dangerous objects that can destroy our balls. In addition, following the example of countless other mobile productions, the authors placed three stars on each level. Their collection is not obligatory, but it increases the final score.
