Battlecruiser 3000AD is an advanced space simulator, the concept of which was born in the early 1980s in the head of its creator - Derek Smart. After more than 10 years of creating and constantly improving his idea, he managed to create one of the most extensive and detailed space-simulators in history.

The action of the game takes place many decades after mankind invented advanced spacecraft technology and discovered new worlds and intelligent forms of life. Despite this, interstellar travel is still inaccessible to the general public, but reserved only for the military and research scientists. In 2041 a great intergalactic war broke out with the participation of the Earth. Three years later, a special galactic alliance of GALCOM was formed to establish order in space. However, the Gammulan race did not join the alliance and it is against it that we will come to fight in Battlecruiser 3000AD.
