So-called hero shooters are a subgenre, whose representatives can much more easily suffer defeat than achieve success. However, this does not mean that there is a lack of developers trying to get a piece of the pie belonging to giants like Overwatch. One of the teams that decided to take on this challenge is the South Korean BoldPlay Games, responsible for the Black Stigma game described here, distributed in a free-to-play model with microtransactions.

Gameplay

In Black Stigma we watch the action from the first person (FPP) or third person (TPP) perspective.

Criminal rivalry

During the game, we play as so-called Masters. They are the agents representing syndicates competing for control over the criminal underworld. The pillar of the game are battles fought as part of various modes. The battle arenas in the game are diverse locations, such as an abandoned subway station, secret hideouts, or the roofs of luxury apartment buildings.

Arsenal

The game provides us with a range of characters varied in terms of gender, appearance, and also combat potential. On the battlefield, we make use of a pistol, which we can adapt to individual preferences. By installing accessories such as a scope, silencer, larger magazine or laser sight, we can transform it into a weapon for short or long distance combat. There also cosmetic elements available, thanks to which we make it a one-of-a-kind weapon.
