Hero shooter Black Stigma will launch on PC next week. What about Xbox, PS5 and Switch? Can we hope for console ports?
Hero shooters are still popular. Just look at the success of Marvel Rivals (though in this case the rooster of well-known characters is definitely responsible for a part of its popularity). Black Stigma is another game that wants to shine in this genre. It will be released in early access on PC next week (<br>18 July). What about other platforms? Let’s talk about Xbox, PS5 and Switch ports.
Are you a console gamer and want to play Black Stigma? I don’t have good news for you. The game will only be available on PC. Right now, there is no information on potential ports. Will this change? At this point it’s hard to say. This new hero shooter will launch as early access, so it’s almost certain that the developers will focus on finishing PC version first.
Possibly, if the game is popular enough, it will be released on other platforms. So, if you are a die-hard console player, you must wait for the future announcements.
However, there is still the question of which platforms Black Stigma will potentially end up on. Of course, the highest chances are that it will be released on the current generation of consoles. So, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and maybe Switch 2 are potential candidates. The older devices look less likely. Switch is still supported by Nintendo but this hardware may be too weak to be able to run this game.
If you have PC, you can try launching Black Stigma on it. This game has low system requirements and should work on older computers. The only potential choke point is the high usage of RAM.
