A fighting game based on the license of the popular manga and anime. In Bleach: Rebirth of Souls we participate in sword fights as various Shinigami warriors. Our goal is to deplete opponent's Konpaku to zero. There are singleplayer and multiplayer modes available.
Bleach: Rebirth of Souls is a fighting game based on the license of the popular manga titled Bleach, started in 2002 and also adapted into an anime. The game was developed by Tamsoft studio, which has Captain Tsubasa: Rise of New Champions in its portfolio, as well as most of the Senran Kagura series. Its release was handled by Bandai Namco Entertainment.
In Bleach: Rebirth of Souls we take control of the so-called Shinigami - Souls Reapers. They are warriors who engage in fierce sword duels among themselves. The game provides us with a range of characters known from the original manga. They have been diversified in terms of weapons and unique attacks, which they use on the battlefield.
Unlike most representatives of the genre, we do not watch the action from the side, but from behind the character's back (TPP). We hit the enemy, trying to empty their Reishi meter, which results in reducing the number of Konpaku they have. The victory belongs to the warrior who first manages to reduce the opponent's Konpaku to zero.
We can win easier by skillfully merging attacks into spectacular and deadly combinations, using special moves, led by the Kikon Move capable of destroying several of the opponent's Konpaku in one fell swoop, as well as gathering the right amount of power to make use of the Awakened state, which temporarily increases our combat potential.
Bleach: Rebirth of Souls can be played solo or in multiplayer (online or locally).
The visual layer in Bleach: Rebirth of Souls is maintained in the manga style known from the original.

Game Ratings for Bleach: Rebirth of Souls Video Game.
Completexbox: 80 / 100 by Dan Boise
Bleach Rebirth of Souls is great fighter that can stand on its own thanks to its unique approach and gameplay to the genre. The game offers a decent roster of 30+ characters out of the box, gameplay is easy to pick up and hard to master, and there’s enough gameplay content to keep players busy for months. Despite Story mode feeling more like a watching an anime (felt like 40% playing, 60% watching) and burying the shop under layers of menus in story mode, the gameplay is solid enough to sink its teeth into players. If you’re a long time fighting genre player or looking for some different, Bleach Rebirth of Souls is a must play.
TheGamer: 3.5 / 5 by George Foster
Bleach: Rebirth of Souls has some uneven presentation and can get overly repetitive towards the end of its campaign, but its more thoughtful combat mechanics and commitment to doing the series’ story justice make it a strong first entry in what I hope is a new series. Whether you’re a seasoned Bankai user or a newcomer to the Soul Society like me, Rebirth of Souls is sure to show you why Bleach earned its place in The Big Three.
Push Square: 6 / 10 by Robert Ramsey
There's something really compelling at the core of Bleach: Rebirth of Souls, but it struggles to emerge amidst half-baked mechanics and a general lack of depth. The game wows over the first few hours with slick visuals and a varied character roster, but it just doesn't have the content to keep anyone but the most hardcore Bleach fans hooked. While it's great to see Tite Kubo's edgy blockbuster back in action, Rebirth of Souls will go down as a flashy fighter that never realised its potential.
