Permanent Way is a Turkish development studio that has focused on creating games set in fantasy lands inspired by the ancient Middle East. It is no different in the case of Blood of Mehran, an action-adventure game about the titular warrior.

Gameplay

In Blood of Mehran we view the action from a third-person perspective (TPP).

The warrior's path

During the game we take on the role of a hero who must put aside his plans for retirement and face his enemies driven by their cruel ambitions. This begins an adventure that takes us through various locations – from wilderness, through cities and temple complexes, to underground areas.

Combat and character development

We explore a land very loosely inspired by ancient Mesopotamia (on foot or on horseback) and we often reach for weapons, as numerous enemies stand in our way. The battles are dynamic, and we eliminate foes using a sword and shield or a pair of blades, as well as a bow. In addition, a stealth system has been implemented here, which allows us to sneak behind enemy backs and neutralize them by surprise.
