Plot

The authors opted for a highly absurd plot. We play as Hendrick, who became a victim of a powerful wind. It torn his house to pieces and left only a single hair on top of his bald head, and teleporting shoes on his feet. We need to make a good use of these items to break through a long series of threatening maps in search of pieces of our home.

Mechanics

Blown Away: Secret of the Wind, released on iOS and AND, offers an extensive single player campaign in which we have to beat 120 different levels. Each of them is full of enemies, traps and other threats as well as numerous items to collect. What makes this game unique is the power to teleport at a short distance. With its help we avoid obstacles, threats, and use it to attack enemies. But remember that the batteries in the hero's shoes will run out after every jump and we have to wait for them to regenerate.

All this has been done in a style typical for the runners, which means that the character moves forward automatically. We only control teleportation - this is where the difficulty comes in. We need to choose the right moment to activate this ability and at the same time to take care of battery regeneration, which occurs only when Hendrick moves on his own feet. Thus, overcoming the challenges requires both skill and cunning, with proper management of the energy.
