Card games are a grateful subject to be adapted into online productions. From such an assumption, the independent studio Bad Badger was created, producing Bogos Binted? described here. It is a game full of black humor that allows us to play as alien gamblers.

Gameplay

In Bogos Binted? we watch the action from the first person perspective (FPP).

Exploding heads

The pillar of the game is participating in various card competitions, in which the standard consequences of lost games by the players have been replaced by their heads swelling up. The worse we perform, the faster our heads grow, and the effects of this process are their spectacular explosions, which disqualify us from further play until the end of the round.

Card games

In Bogos Binted? we can find various card games.

  1. In ZOGBLORP, we lay out cards with numbers on the table, making sure that the total sum of these does not exceed the limit set for a given round (because otherwise our head will enlarge). In addition to this, we get special cards at our disposal, allowing us to trick opponents, thwart their plans or turn the situation to our advantage.
  2. In BULLSHIT, players take turns, using concealed cards and declaring that they correspond to the currently applicable table rank (e.g. Two, Three, Queen). The rank changes every turn, and bluffing is allowed. If we get caught lying, our head will be "inflated". However, if someone unjustly accuses us of bluffing, their head will swell. The game is spiced up by the "Deadeye" card, revealing which allows the player to pull out a laser gun and try to shoot the opponent.
  3. BRAINROT is a fast-paced card game where we try to play cards equal to or higher than those on the table. If we fail at this, our heads swell up. There are no shortage of special cards here that allow for things like stealing opponents' cards.
  4. VORP, on the other hand, is a variation of the mafia game, in which a topic and a word are drawn at random. Since one of the players (the titular VORP) doesn't know the password, when it comes to giving clues, he must improvise. Then a discussion and vote takes place on the issue of who is the cheater. VORP, whose identity will be revealed, loses one life. If an innocent participant of the game is accused, everyone except VORP loses their life.
