Call of Boba

Call of Boba is an adventure action game maintained in a cozy style. It was developed by the independent studio Tomatoast and represents its debut project. We are transported to a charming town and tasked with restoring the former splendor of the local bubble tea shop.

Gameplay

In Call of Boba we watch the events from a bird's eye view.

During the day...

During the day, we manage the store for its owner. Wanting to serve the best boba tea in the area and attract customers from the entire region, we need to explore the game world and gather the necessary ingredients, as well as prepare the drinks ourselves, using a variety of recipes.

To obtain more ingredients for boba tea, we also need to focus on farming the land. Moreover, getting to know the townspeople plays an important role here, with whom we can establish close relationships and perform additional quests for them. The fishing mini-games complement all of this, adding variety to the gameplay.

...and at night

After dusk, the game changes a bit, as the mysterious and dangerous inhabitants of the town leave their hiding places. Using weapons related to bubble tea (so-called Bobas), we have to engage in dynamic battles. Defeated opponents inspire us to make bubble tea (and provide an additional source of ingredients).
