Campus Life PC

Campus Life is a simulation of student life in the full sense of the word. This is yet another Polish production alongside Chornobyl Liquidators, developed by the Live Motion Games studio in cooperation with the publisher Frozen Way.

Plot

In Campus Life there are four main storylines, each providing complex and engaging stories, interconnected with each other. We have the opportunity to join one of the three fraternities present on campus or remain an independent student. Regardless of the choice, each fraternity offers a variety of activities, tasks, and events in which we can participate.

Mechanics

We start the game by creating our student character in an extensive character creator. Thanks to it, we can customize not only the appearance and style of your character, but also their initial skills and origin. Additionally, we should choose goals that will help our character get through four years of education. These goals cover various aspects of student life and can be divided into two categories: related to the character's personality and the actions taken by them.

The main challenge is effective time management. As a student, we have various responsibilities, such as attending lectures, studying for exams, and obtaining scholarships. Nevertheless, there are also many attractive ways to spend free time on campus. These can be parties with friends, playing team sports, working part-time for extra money, but also quiet walks and evenings dedicated to reading books or painting.

Active participation in various activities allows for raising stats, such as mind, body, creativity, energy, and joy. Furthermore, striving to achieve selected goals allows for acquiring new traits, which have passive effects influencing various aspects of student life, such as exam results, product prices in stores, or gaining resources such as reputation or energy.

In addition to supporting their performance statistics, these also influence the development of skills that are useful in campus life. During the game we have many opportunities to test these skills in various events, such as chess tournaments, baseball matches and theater performances.

The last significant statistic is popularity. It can be increased by performing certain tasks and activities, as well as making decisions. Our level of popularity affects receiving access to additional activities and benefits, such as facilitating or hindering relationships with other students and qualifying for discounts at selected stores.

Game modes

Apart from the main mode, which covers four years of college, we can continue playing thanks to the New Game Plus mode. The mode allows us to return to the beginning of the student adventure, keeping everything except items and relationships with others. This gives a chances for further character development, but also to experience other story paths.
