Although the Cities brand was created by the Colossal Order studio, custody of its development was handed over to other entities in early 2026. While the Cities: Skylines II project was taken over by Iceflake Studios, the Tantalus Media team, which had previously developed the Cities: Skylines conversion, was tasked with developing the expansion described here, Cities: Skylines - Race Day.
