Clone Drone in the Danger Zone is an action game, revolving around robot arena combat. It was developed by an indie studio Doborog Games.

Plot

The protagonist ofClone Drone in the Danger Zone has been implanted into a machine. They must now fiercely fight for their survival on various arenas.

Mechanics

Clone Drone in the Danger Zone is a third-person game. Combat is the main mechanic, requiring constant movement and good reflexes. Timing is also important, as the better timed our attacks are, the more effective they will be.

The game features a dismemberment system, letting us remove the limbs off our enemies; this is especially useful against larger opponents, which we need to cut down to size before finishing them off. We can get dismembered as well, so we must be careful.

As we progress through the game, we upgrade our robot, unlocking more powerful gear; we'll make use of our bare limbs, ranged weapons, melee weapons, jetpacks and various kinds of armor. Our actions are constantly judged and commented by Commentatron and Analysis-Bot.

Game modes

Clone Drone in the Danger Zone supports singleplayer and multiplayer. For solo players, there's a story mode, endless mode and special challenges. Multiplayer features the Last Bot Standing mode resembling a battle royale, 1v1 duels and co-op. The final mode is Twitch mode, in which the spectating viewers can bet on the winner and send enemies against us.
