Cloudheim is a game developed by Noodle Cat Games. They are a small but experienced studio with team members who have previously worked on franchises like Mass Effect, Dragon Age and Fortnite. Their game tells the story of rebuilding the world after Ragnarok, focusing on gods, engineers, and warriors who choose hammer and steel over prayer. Either working solo or in a team, we explore floating islands, create new weapons, and fight to restore balance to the world.

Gameplay

In Cloudheim the action is viewed from a third-person perspective. We take on the role of warrior-craftsman traversing a world shattered by the catastrophe known as Ragnarok. Each mission begins aboard a flying base called Odin Shell, which serves as a workshop and command center. From there, the team embarks on expeditions to floating islands and ruins of ancient lands, which act as dungeons.

  • Bugs and Performance Issues: Several reviews mention bugs, glitches, and performance problems, which can hinder gameplay.
  • Repetitive Gameplay: Some users feel that the game can become repetitive over time, especially regarding quests and enemy encounters.

  • Enhanced Tutorial and Guidance: Many players feel the game could benefit from a clearer tutorial system to help new players understand its mechanics better.

Summary
