Unfortunately, the experiment escapes control, posing a serious threat to the entire universe. A robot is sent to the site to prevent a catastrophe and restore order.
Constant C was developed by an independent International Games System (IGS) studio addressed to lovers of 2D platformers enriched with elements of a logical game.
The action of the game is set in the near future. Thanks to the efforts of many outstanding minds and the involvement of huge funds, a modern scientific base has been built in space, where research on time and space is carried out. Suddenly, the experiment slips out of control. People and equipment inside the space station are motionlessness. World leaders decide to send a robot to the site to discover the causes of the accident and remove the consequences of the accident. Soon, it turns out that the fate of the entire universe depends on the outcome of the mission.
The gameplay focuses on jumping between platforms, avoiding traps, bypassing security devices, and collecting items to restore the proper functioning of the research station. The robot, whose actions are controlled by the player, is equipped with several useful skills. First of all, it is surrounded by a time sphere, thanks to which devices frozen in time "come to life" after approaching them. Also, the robot can manipulate gravity, which allows you to get to hard-to-reach places on the levels and avoid dangers.
The developers have prepared more than 100 levels, most of which allow the player to manipulate elements of the environment to some extent. The difficulty level of the game is not too high and the controls have been adapted to the gamepad.
Constant C is characterized by good-looking cartoon graphics. The 2D graphics draw attention to the skillful use of lighting and shadows, which intensifies the impression of exploring a dormant space station.
