Continent of the Ninth Release Date PC
Continent of the Ninth Seal, also known as C9, is a MMORPG that uses a free micropayment model. Production was originally released in Korea in 2009. The English version has been heavily redesigned in terms of the mechanics of the game, so as to better suit the tastes of Western audiences.
As in Asian MMO productions, the plot background is slightly confusing. The action takes place in the magical land of Glenheim, where the gate to the beyond worlds has broken. Nefer's black character will not retreat from anything to turn these small cracks into large cracks. The task of thwarting his plans falls, of course, on the shoulders of players. This is not the first attempt by Nefer to destroy Glenheim. Years ago he was stopped by a hero named Acharon, who united all the inhabitants of the land against the common enemy. Now, however, the enemy has returned and, worse still, this time Nefer has captured an ancient artifact known as Hermes' Sword and wants to use its power to destroy the seal on the gate.
The heart of the Continent of the Ninth Seal is a dynamic combat system based on action games. The control resembles a shooter and during the clashes you have to aim each blow by hand. There are no automatic attacks. Experience requires an extensive set of techniques and combos. The authors took care to provide a mass of various PvE missions, in which you can face beings controlled by artificial intelligence. The PvP option, which allows you to compete with other players, has also been given equal attention.
The game offers several different character classes. Each of them has its own characteristics, fighting styles, equipment, special skills, as well as a path of development and specializations. Among the professions available are Fighter (Warrior), a class specializing in weapons and shield defense, and Shaman (Shaman), which resembles a priest class from other MMO games (he uses spells and a magic stick). For those who like to surprise attacks, the Hunter will be ideal. He prefers to use the bow, but in close combat he can also cope with sharp daggers. For players who value versatility, Witchblade will be a good choice, because this class is able to perform both rapid attacks with white weapons and use simple spells.
