Game mechanics

Similarly to previous works of the studio, in Cook Serve Forever we run our own restaurant on wheels. This time we don't get a food truck, but a small catering cart. It doesn't mean, however, that we have less work than before.

Our main task is to fulfill the orders placed by customers. Game gives us hundreds of different ingredients, which we chop, mix and fry, and then prepare various dishes based on them. As it happens in this line of work, we rarely have a chance to do all this in a hurry, because most of the time we have to deal with several things at the same time, in order to deliver the orders (and thus earn money) as soon as possible and avoid long queues.

If we do everything right, over time the amount of money on our account will start to grow. We can spend the accumulated funds on buying new ingredients and on various improvements for our mobile kitchen. In addition, we learn about the storyline and about both the protagonist and the presented world.

Game modes

Cook Serve Forever offers an extensive story campaign, which we can complete solo or in local co-op mode.

Technical aspects

Cook Serve Forever features eye-pleasing graphics; especially realistic (and tasty) looking dishes deserve special attention. The story is conveyed, among others, through cutscenes stylized as fragments of a cartoon. As for the sound layer - the voices of individual characters were provided by, among others, Elspeth Eastman (who previously appeared in League of Legends) and Emme Montgomery (known for Cook, Serve, Delicious! 3?!).
