In 2019, a humorous cooking simulation titled Cooking Simulator was released on PCs (and eventually on other platforms). Over the years, the team Big Cheese Studio responsible for it, enriched it with a series of add-ons. The sixth paid expansion for this production is Cooking Simulator: BBQ described here. It draws inspiration from barbecue culture.

New features in the expansion

As the title suggests, Cooking Simulator: BBQ focuses on having barbecues. In our outdoor kitchen, we have access to gas and charcoal grills, as well as deep fryers. Additionally, the developers provide us with previously unavailable recipes and ingredients, including burgers, ribs, and chicken.

During the game we can not only grill steaks or burger meat, but also fry bites, glaze ribs, or prepare fries. It's up to us which technique we choose - the add-on allows for both "low & slow" grilling and quick meal preparation at high temperatures. It's important to remember that the grilling method we choose affects aspects of the served dishes, such as their juiciness, crispiness, and aroma.
