Corpse Factory is a visual novel, kept in the psychological thriller style. The game was developed by an independent team River Crow Studio.

Plot

Corpse Factory takes us to Tokyo from the near future. The plot of the game revolves around a website that allows you to request the death of a selected person; in order to deprive someone of life, all you have to do is upload their photo.

Although at first it seemed to be just an urban legend, things took an unexpected turn when some Tokyo residents started receiving photos of their own corpses. The situation became even more complicated when people began to die under mysterious circumstances, carrying photographs of their dead bodies received hours earlier...

Mechanics

In terms of game mechanics, Corpse Factory remains true to the genre scheme. The gameplay is about following the story and watching static screens presenting the characters and the scenery they are in. From time to time we also make decisions that affect the further course of the story, and thus - the fate of the characters and the end of the plot.
