The action of Cowboy Bebop takes place in a world known from the popular Japanese animated series and manga of the same title. So we are moving to 2071, when mankind has long since conquered the cosmos, and the cowboy appearing in the title is a fairly common profession, consisting in traversing the Solar System in search of hackers, drug traffickers or terrorists and seizing rewards for capturing them.

In this fight we observe the character from the third person's perspective. The three characters we can play (Spike, Jet and Fayne), well known to the fans of the series, are three different personalities and, above all, three different fighting styles. This diversity is felt during the game - but the unique Jeet Kune Do style, mastered to perfection by Spike, is something completely different than the so-called bull-dog styles that Jet fights with. Crossing the streets of futuristic cities, we are attacked by local hooligans and thieves - often several dozen at the same time! In addition to blows (fist, kick, shoulder strike and several special attacks each) and combos, the items and firearms found along the way are useful in eliminating them.

Additional game modes deserve attention, which allow us to rest from hand-to-hand combat. The first one is Time Crisis shooting (we have to hide behind the elements of the environment to avoid shooting), and the second one is a little detective game, during which you have to solve simple puzzles. As far as graphics are concerned, there is a clear inspiration for the series. Particularly noteworthy is the excellent soundtrack, for which the famous Japanese jazz composer Kanno Yoko is responsible.
