cWind: Sailing Simulator

cWind: Sailing Simulator, released on AND and iOS, is a mobile sailing simulator. The project was developed by BdT studio and released as a premium product - it has no microtransactions.

Mechanics

cWind: Sailing Simulator allows you to participate in races following the rules of the International Sailing Federation (ISAF) for the 2013-2016 seasons. Non-compliance with these guidelines is severely punished.

cWind: Sailing Simulator is a real simulator and realism was the developers' priority. The weights of the boats, their behavior on different types of waters and the dynamically changing wind were faithfully rendered. All this has been developed so precisely that the game can be used to learn real sailing techniques. Even control cockpits, operating identically as the real ones, have been faithfully recreated.

The authors have prepared a wide range of routes and a large set of boats, starting from the nineteenth-century models up to the latest technical achievements. Moreover, the creators allowed us to freely set the weather conditions meaning that we can try our hand at bad weather conditions that in the real world would cause the competition to be canceled.

In addition, numerous extensive tutorials slowly introduce players to the secrets of virtual sailing.

Game mode

cWind: Sailing Simulator allows you to play alone against the artificial intelligence of different levels of competence, or try to beat time records. There is also a multiplayer mode, which allows you to face other players over the Internet.

In addition to the traditional realistic regatta, players can also play with its special version, which also requires us to collect objects drifting in the sea.
