In 2014, the team at 9heads Game Studios released an online survival horror game with asymmetric multiplayer, titled Damned. Years later, the same team decided to return to their biggest success and prepare its sequel, namely the Damned 2 described here.

Gameplay

In Damned 2 we watch the action from a first-person perspective (FPP). The gameplay varies, depending on who we embody.

Group of survivors

As part of a four-person group of survivors, we have to find a way out of one of the locations where the game is taking place. To achieve this, we need to solve puzzles that require us to search for objects and use them in a specific way. The key to success is close cooperation with other players, and the situation is complicated by the fact that items are randomly distributed before the start of each game.

Monsters

The fifth player, on the other hand, can take on the role of one of the monsters hunting the survivors. The game provides us with a range of creatures varied in terms of appearance, skills, and hunting style for victims. While some operate quietly, others sow real chaos around them.
