Darkblade Ascent is an action RPG, enriched with clearly outlined elements of roguelikes. The game was developed by the independent studio PST Games from Romania and represents its debut project.

Gameplay

In Darkblade Ascent we watch the action from a first-person perspective (FPP). The game transports us to a dark fantasy world and allows us to embody a character who is making their way through this land and facing the dangers lurking within it. The adventure leads us through procedurally generated locations, among which we will find abandoned villages, libraries, cathedral courtyards or cemeteries.

Character classes

The game provides us with a range of character classes, which we unlock as we progress. They were differentiated in terms of preferred weaponry, combat style, and unique talent trees.
