A remastered version of the second installment in the Dead Island series, originally launched in 2011 by the Polish studio Techland. The game picks up after the events of its predecessor. While going back home, the four protagonists had to land on a military ship which soon after became a zombie-infested hell. Eventually, we end up on the entirely new island, Palanai, where we have to fight for survival.

Dead Island: Riptide – Definitive Edition for PC, PS4 and XONE is a remastered edition of the 2013’s Dead Island Riptide and contains every expansion released for the original. The production can be bought via digital distribution channels or bundled with Dead Island: Definitive Edition as a part of Dead Island: Definitive Collection. The title was developed by Techland, a Polish studio that previously created Dying Light, among other titles, and published by Deep Silver.

Story

Dead Island: Riptide – Definitive Edition continues the themes of Dead Island. While returning home by helicopter, the protagonists have to land on a military ship. Soon after, the zombie nightmare begins all over again. Eventually, we find ourselves on the island of Palanai, where we have to fight for survival yet again.
