Chaotic movement from point A to point B to transport passengers or deliver cargo on time has been a mainstay of a number of productions over the years. One game based on this idea is the racer Deadline Delivery from San Francisco-based independent GOOD1 Studios.
In Deadline Delivery, we watch the action from behind the car (TPP). During the gameplay, we play the role of a courier monkey, whose car has been equipped with explosive charges constantly timed to explode. If Carl, for that is the protagonist's name, wants to escape with his life, he has to cover all the waiting routes as quickly as possible, along the way delivering shipments to impatient recipients.
During the game, we speed along varied tracks, trying to make it on time. Complicating matters is the fact that the locations where we move are real obstacle courses full of jumps and sharp turns. Additional variety (but also difficulty) is the highly arcade driving model, which allows you to perform flips in the air and drift on corners.
Deadline Delivery can be played as a single player or in a competitive multiplayer mode for up to 8 people.
The graphic design of Deadline Delivery was made in low poly technique (the whole game was based on a relatively small number of polygons).
