Death Tour Description
Death Tour is a racing game developed by Pragmatix. The title is distributed in a free-to-play model with microtransactions.
Story
In Death Tour the player takes on the role of a hero, whose task is to deliver a valuable parcel. Things get complicated when armed criminals start to follow him. Therefore, the protagonist has no choice but to try to accomplish the mission, while at the same time fighting for his life with gangsters hot on his heels.
Mechanics
In Death Tour we observe the action from third-person perspective. We have an extensive garage for a variety of vehicles at our disposal, including the so-called hot rods, Soviet Volga and a hippie van, as well as iconic cars of such brands as Porsche, Cadillac, and Chevrolet. The machines can be customized - we can not only change their appearance by adjusting their colors and installation of the so-called body kits but also increase their performance by replacing the engine and installing stronger components. What's more, during the game, we get access to an increasingly powerful arsenal, with the help of which we eliminate our opponents; such as machine guns or even remotely controlled drones.
In the course of the game, we take part in crazy arena fights (Demolition Derby) and fight for survival in the Survival mode; the list of locations includes an abandoned canyon, an old chapel or the streets of a crowded city. Our combat potential is increased by power-ups scattered on the road, repairing the vehicle or replenishing ammunition.
Technical aspects
Death Tour features three-dimensional visuals of decent quality. What deserves attention above all is a realistic damage model.
