Deer Hunter: Interactive Hunting Experience Description
Deer Hunter is one of the most famous PC hunting simulations. This is a quite realistic simulator, in which making an accurate shot requires a great deal of skill and patience. Hunting takes place in one of the three areas of the United States with different climates: Arkansas, Colorado and snowy Indians.
In the course of the game we play the role of a hunter. When you select a location, the map screen appears. From this level we can track places containing traces left by deer. As soon as we see them, we move on to the right game. We observe the action from the first person perspective and while standing in place we move the camera to the sides looking for animals.
The players have at their disposal an arsenal limited to just three positions. The easiest way to eliminate deer is with a carabiner equipped with an optical telescope. More advanced hunters can try their hand at holding a rifle or bow. In addition, accessories have been prepared in order to facilitate play in the form of binoculars or antlers that distract attention from the target. The option of making a sound that imitates other animals also works well. The bar at the bottom edge of the screen also contains information about the current compass position and wind direction.
The head of each of the hunted deer goes to a special room filled with trophies. At any time we can view statistics on the weight and size of the animal and where it was shot.
