Disc Jam for PS4, SWITCH and PC is a futuristic sports game that combines tennis with hockey. It was developed by independent developer High Horse Entertainment. It is the first game developed by the studio founded by Jay Mattis and Timothy Rappa. Both developers are industry veterans and they previously worked on titles like Call of Duty and Guitar Hero.
Matches in PS4, SWITCH and PC version of Disc Jam are taking place on a rectangular field split into two halves by a net. At first glance the field looks similar to a tennis court. There are three point zones located on the opposite ends of the field. The players are throwing a glowing disc that can rebound from walls. The objective is to hit the opponent’s zone. Such action is awarded with from three to five points. There are many characters available in the game and each of them has unique abilities that can impact player’s strategy. Among them there is a shield and special throws that change the behavior of the disc. Disc Jam offers 1vs.1 and 2vs.2 matches.
In addition to duels against AI, the players can also participate in multiplayer matches that are the main attraction of the game. The title offers advanced online options among which there are rankings of the best players and multi-phase tournaments. In addition to that, the developers implemented an option to play on a single or a split screen for up to four players.
Disc Jam for PS4, SWITCH and PC offers three-dimensional graphics and energetic soundtrack. Wide customization options are worth mentioning. The player can select from many accessories and clothes in order to modify character models.

Game Ratings for Disc Jam Video Game.
Push Square: 6 / 10 by Sammy Barker
Disc Jam has all of the ingredients of a classic but it just doesn't feel fully cooked. Flat visuals and some balance issues prevent this disc tossing sim from reaching the same highs as Rocket League, even if its gameplay loop is fairly accessible and sporting some great depth. That said, though, if this is High Horse Entertainment's Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle-Cars moment, then we can't wait to see what it delivers next time it takes to the field.
Nintendo Life: 7 / 10 by Gonçalo Lopes
Disc Jam neither insults or excels in Switch game's library and what it does, it does so in solid fashion. It is fast, fun, easy to pick up and hard to master, but as previously stated elsewhere on this review it lives or dies by its community; Will the current install base of Switch users turn Disc Jam into a runaway, enduring online success or the game future will be best remembered for it's fast paced bouts with your friends on local multiplayer? To this question we do not know the answer and it will be up to the developers to continued to support their product with new features that will keep the game future proof. But the solid foundation for a great competitive eSport is already in place. Pick this up without fear if you know you have friends with whom you'd like to compete. Otherwise you might want to keep a lookout from the sidelines to see how it all plays out.
Forbes: 7.1 / 10 by Brian Mazique
As it is, Disc Jam is a great and interesting concept that leaves you wanting more. Just as quickly as you gain an affinity for the game, you can also get bored with it once you realized there just isn't a lot to offer. Even with the obvious shallowness, Disc Jam is worth your time.
