Door Kickers

Door Kickers is a tactical strategy game in which we take control over a SWAT unit. It is the debut production of Killhouse Games, a small development studio from Bucharest, Romania. The title was partially funded thanks to selling early alpha and beta builds.

The developers of Door Kickers put an emphasis on realism by giving the players a number of real-life gadgets and weapons as well as a large variety of possible tactics. The 2D environment is observed from an aerial perspective which allows for quick planning and easy orientation. Door Kickers is played in real-time but it also offers an active pause feature. The players control a SWAT unit and the tactics are totally up to them. This include entry point and neutralization method. Success depends mostly on our precision, coordination and use of environment. The experience is even more fun thanks to the enemy AI that is capable of exploiting our mistakes.

During numerous missions, we rescue hostages, protect VIPs, raid drug dealers’ hideouts and escort prisoners. Our areas of operations are estates, industrial zones, banks, embassies and the like. The missions are randomly generated but they can also be created by players via dedicated toolset. Furthermore, the utility allows for creating locations.
