Drone Perspective is a tactical game in which we play as a drone operator, commanding units on a contemporary battlefield. The development of this game was led by independent developer Demetri Lind.

Gameplay

In Drone Perspective we watch the action from a bird's eye view (or rather a drone's view). The game allows us to sit in front of a virtual computer, through which we connect to a drone flying over the battlefield.

Modern battlefield

During the game, we command soldiers divided into squads (Alpha, Bravo, Charlie, and Echo). Our task is to issue such orders to our subordinates that they are able to achieve the goals set before them, while avoiding or minimizing losses.

The key to success is utilizing the terrain, making use of cover, coordinating actions, and also ensuring the cooperation of individual teams. When things start to heat up, we can try to clear the problematic territory using a rocket launcher, artillery fire, or by dropping a grenade on the enemy's position.

VEIL OS

The game also allows us to exit the software that controls drones and rummage through the VEIL OS system. This can result in finding an email client (the messages received vary, depending on how we are doing on the battlefield), as well as a number of hints about the true nature of our employer.

Level editor

The game has implemented an editor that allows us to create our own levels and share them with the community.
