A two-dimensional arcade game developed with multiplayer in mind. Duck Game started on Ouya console, and then was brought to other platforms. Duck Game for PC and PS4 is a two-dimensional arcade game developed for multiplayer matches. It is a first work of a Canadian developer Landon Podbielski. Original Duck Game debuted in 2014 for Ouya console with Android operating system, and then an enhanced version appeared in 2015 for PC, with a single player challenge mode.
Duck Game resembles titles like Samurai Gunn and TowerFall, offering fast-paced multiplayer gameplay on small, closed, two-dimensional arenas. Up to four players controlling cartoon-like ducks can compete on tens of maps, filled with weapons to pick up like shotguns, machine guns or flamethrowers. Due to the size of stages, skirmishes can end after mere seconds. The game rewards skilled players, fast reactions and strategic uses of jumps, dodges and arenas’ design.
The looks of players’ characters can be modified with wide variety of hats. They don’t have any effect on gameplay, being purely esthetical effects changing animations and sounds made by the ducks.
Duck Game focuses on multiplayer mode, either online or locally with split screen. A challenge mode can be use to polish one’s skills alone through various minigames, which offer interesting twist on game’s mechanics.
The game uses colorful, two-dimensional visuals in retro style. Gameplay is accompanied by electronic music and sound effects inspired by classic 16-bit consoles hits.

Game Ratings for Duck Game Video Game.
NintendoWorldReport: 9 / 10 by Matthew Zawodniak
Duck Game has been of favorite indie party game for years on PC, and I'm so excited to finally be able to bring it with me wherever I go to convince more friends and coworkers to play it with me at any time. Even though it was made as a PC exclusive five years ago, it still feels like Duck Game was made for the easy pick-up-and-play-anywhere multiplayer that the Switch was first advertised with. Few games draw out as many laughs, screams, and curses among my friends as Duck Game does, and now that it's available on Switch it's going to be a cornerstone of my millennial rooftop parties for years to come.
We Got This Covered: 4 / 5 by David Morgan
Despite its humor, Duck Game is far from a joke of a game. Tightly designed and easy to jump into, it's a sure pick for anyone looking to entertain some company.

The Towerfall-like party title Duck Game is now on Switch, and with it comes a package of wonkiness and absurdism.
