A sequel to a popular action-RPG with tower defense elements, originally released in 2011 as a debut game of indie developer Trendy Entertainment. Dungeon Defenders II is a multiplayer game, which offers cooperative tower defense skirmishes, as well as online battles based on the extremely popular MOBA productions. The title was developed by the Trendy Entertainment studio, who have also been responsible for the previous installment of Dungeon Defenders.

The title features a co-op mode known to the fans of the game’s predecessor, where a group of players joins forces to defeat waves of increasingly difficult AI-controlled enemies. The characters have a set of special abilities at their disposal, and can also construct defensive structures. The developers have made a lot of improvements in comparison to the first Dungeon Defenders production; additional heroes and enemy types have been added into the game, along with numerous watchtowers and items. Individual dungeon levels have been connected by a mini-world on the surface, which can hold up to 24 players.
