Earth No More is a first-person shooter, and debut work of the Finnish developer called Recoil Games. It is worth mentioning that it was created in cooperation with another developer, 3D Realms.

Plot

Will Forsyth, the main character of the game, is imprisoned in a quarantine area. The spreading virus has reached a small town in New England - fast-growing, poisonous vines transform the environment and create mutant plants and animals. A dangerous plague forces civilians to evacuate. The hero and several people he meets on his way form a team with that will accompany him through infected areas.

Mechanics

Earth No More focuses on co-operation. However, this is far from the tactical shooters we know. Thanks to the abilities of individual heroes, we can solve specific tasks or use certain types of weapons, including those that can only be used in pairs (creatures we meet in the game world can also help us to use them). It is worth remembering that mutants do not always stand on the opposite side of the barricade - some of them can help us.

Technical aspects

Earth No More uses the Unreal Engine 3. In addition to the single-player campaign, it also offers a multiplayer mode, where we explore dangerous territories in cooperation with other players.
