Edens Zero is a manga started in 2018 by Hiro Mashima (who also has such titles as Rave Master and Fairy Tail in his portfolio). After acquiring its license, the Japanese game company Konami prepared an action RPG based on it, using the same title for the project.

Gameplay

In Edens Zero we view events from a third-person perspective (TPP). The game transports us to the science fiction universe created for the needs of the original. Its main character is Shiki Granbell and his team, with whom he embarks on a dangerous space journey.

Space journey

The adventure leads us through various planets, and during it we meet the inhabitants of these globes and perform various quests for them. Our command center is the titular Edens Zero - an interstellar ship on board which Shiki and his companions explore the cosmos. Among the planets, a special place is occupied by Blue Garden, which is the headquarters of the Travelers Guild, to which Shiki and his team belong.

Characters

On the way, various playable characters join us (such as Rebecca, Weisz and Homura, known from the manga original). They have unique personalities, fighting styles and combat abilities. They can fight at a distance or in close combat, making use of conventional weapons or magic.

Combat system

Fighting opponents is an important element of gameplay. During dynamic battles with hordes of enemies, we must skillfully juggle attacks and character abilities, as well as utilize the possibilities of ethereal equipment. If it turns out that a given character, male or female, is not handling a particular problem well, we can replace him (or her) with another character.

Equipment and meals

As we progress, we gather equipment that affects the statistics of individual characters, as well as modify their appearance. Visits on board Edens Zero are also an opportunity to prepare meals that strengthen the protagonist and his entourage.
