Edna & Harvey: The Breakout - Anniversary Edition is a refreshed version of the 2008 edition of point'n'click adventure game - Edna & Harvey: The Breakout. German studio Daedalic Entertainment is responsible for the production and release of the title.
The plot focuses on the fate of Edna - a young girl who one day wakes up as a patient in a psychiatric hospital. The girl remembers practically nothing of her past, but is convinced that she should not be locked up. She considers herself to be a completely healthy person, and in this conviction she is additionally confirmed by her plush mascot - toy rabbit, Harvey. Edna decides to run away.
Edna & Harvey: the Breakout-Anniversary Edition is a classic point'n'click adventure game. The player's task is to explore locations, solve logical puzzles and talk to the residents of the hospital (among them is a man dressed in a bee costume and a pair of fake Siamese twins). Additionally, a hint system has been implemented in game, which marks all interactive objects.
During the game there are also sequences in which the player controls Edna and Harvey independently and can switch between them. In this case some actions can only be performed by a specific hero.
Edna & Harvey: the Breakout-Anniversary Edition, in addition to improved controls, offers a new graphic design that preserves the comic book style known from the original. Additionally, we have the ability to switch between the original and upgraded look of the game.
