Enchanted Arms Description
The story of the Far Eastern cRPG entitled Enchanted Arms is set in Yokohama City – a highly developed, militaristic metropolis, and the center of magic arcane. During the 400th anniversary of the city founding, a young and very gifted apprentice named Atsuma accidentally summons one of the greatest and most evil golems – The Queen of Ice. Atsuma decides to redeem himself by defeating the enemy endangering the entire world. Fortunately, he is not alone in this fight, as his friends (Makoto, Karin and Raiga'e) stand by him. He also has a hundred of other golems serving him, including Fire Golems, Mage Guardians, or Pegasus Golems. Each one has its own skills and special abilities.
In the game you command a team of four heroes and explore the corners of Yokohama City. Each member of the team has their own colorful outfits, skills, useful items, and interesting, original weapons, such as a giant bazooka or a spear. Combat is turn-based. All fighting characters – both enemies and friends – are set on a grid. In combat you use a chosen ability on an opponent (or a group of opponents, depending on the type of spell), and then watch its animation.
The graphics in Enchanted Arms looks fabulous. Character models are very detailed – look at their hair and clothes waving as they are moving – and it is hard to find two characters that look the same. The city itself is neat too – its futuristic style, towers reaching the sky, small stores in the streets, and bridges over canals, just to name a few elements of the unique and diverse environment.
