Enemy On Board is an asymmetrical online game that takes place on a spaceship called Andromeda. Players become crew members who try to deal with dangerous aliens. The game was developed and released thanks to the efforts of the independent Windwalk Games studio.
In Enemy On Board, we watch the action from above, from the isometric perspective. Six players take part in the game - four of them control the people, while the other two play the changing alien characters. The task of the former is to identify and eradicate the aliens, while the aliens aliens try to harm crew members. It is crucial to watch the other participants carefully - trusting the wrong person can end up tragically.
Interestingly, both sides must take care of the proper condition of the ship by repairing the generators found.
Each of the characters present in the game has their own distinctive abilities - e.g. the ability to open portals or use radar (in the case of aliens, it can be a poisonous gas or the ability to lay explosive eggs). As we progress through the game, we gain new levels and unlock new skills to increase our chances. Moreover, the skills can be merged into powerful combinations. While playing we also get new equipment - e.g. weapons.
The game also offers an editor that allows players to enrich it with new missions, maps and items.
We can only play Enemy On Board with others. The core of the game is an asymmetrical, online multiplayer mode.
Enemy On Board graphic design is quite average and do not stand out. The developers decided to use a simplified style that brings to mind associations with a cartoon or animated film. This type of graphics fits the game in question quite well and is characterised by high transparency.
