Era: The Arken-Throne

Era: The Arken-Throne is a 3D remake of the first installment in the classic Ultima series, developed by a group of Danish enthusiasts. It was powered by the advanced 6DOF engine that supports most of the latest graphic technologies. The story is a direct reference to its inspiration, although more expansive than the one that we remember from Ultima: The First Age of Darkness.

Once Mondain, an evil sorcerer, had been defeated by Lord British, it seemed like all evil was cast out forever. But Mondain was not so easily defeated. Although his corporeal form was gone, the source of his power, poisoning the hearts of his enemies, remained intact. On the four continents of Sosaria, Mondain was almost completely forgotten when the forces of evil struck back. Lord British knows that he will not be able to repel the attack again, therefore he sends for a hero whose traits will allow to effectively fight back against the evil. That is how the legend of the world of Ultima is reborn.
