Euro Truck Simulator 2: Beyond the Baltic Sea is the fifth big expansion to the truck simulator Euro Truck Simulator 2 published in 2012. Both productions are developed by Czech SCS Software – the creators of such games as American Truck Simulator and Scania Truck Driving Simulator.

Mechanics

In terms of the mechanics, Beyond the Baltic Sea is based on Euro Truck Simulator 2. This expansion focuses on the new content, which is the Baltic States – Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia. Additionally, there are Southern regions of Finland and a fragment of Russia that includes its second biggest city – Saint Petersburg. The core version of Euro Truck Simulator 2 already offered some of these locations but in a rather simplified form. This DLC introduces a refreshed and more realistic version of the locations.
