EverQuest

The Ruins of Kunark is an expansion of the popular EverQuest, a massively online multiplayer RPG game. It introduces an entire new continent called Kunark, located south from Faydwer. The players get access to all the standard races and classes, as well as the new race - Iksar. It is a race of reptile monks, who are neutral/evil. The game can be started in every city or village on every continent.

The world of Kunark consists of 20 new zones, starting from those meant for beginners, and ending with dragon lairs. These zones include dungeons, castles, lost crypts and even worlds that go beyond the wildest dreams. Before venturing forth, though, one must properly prepare for the journey by buying adequate equipment, learning basic skills, and gaining some experience by fighting lesser foes.

Travelling between the continents of Kunark, Antonica and Faydwer is done by sea with completely new ships. The world of Kunark is modelled with great attention paid to the details. It was created with more polygons and bigger textures, while character animation is more detailed. The owners of this add-on can advance past the 50th experience level.
