EverQuest

The Scars of Velious is the second expansion for EverQuest, a popular MMORPG. The players get access to another new world. This time around, it is an icy land of Velious. The legend says that it was created when a part of the land was separated from the biggest continent of Norrath when a huge dragon of Veeshan cut it out with his claw. Its icy breath froze the land of Velious and the hearts of its inhabitants forever.

The new continent is a home to hordes of new enemies, dragons that pose a challenge even to the strongest heroes, and lots of questing opportunities. There are 19 new zones to explore, such as caves of ice and crystal, crypts, dungeons, and frozen towers. Of course, these will offer a chance to face completely new enemies, for example: frost giants, ice dragons, snow orcs or cave bears. The new territory also contains thousands of hidden magical items that can be either equipped or sold. A part of the new quests is available only for characters above the 35th level of experience.
