Eydigard is an RPG set in a universe inspired not only by 16th century northern Norway, but also by Scandinavian and Lappish folklore. The game was developed by the independent team Frostisen Studio from Norway.

Gameplay

In Eydigard we watch the action from a third-person perspective (TPP).

Open world, mission and shapeshifting character

The game gives us access to an open world devastated by a destructive plague, pushing it to the brink of collapse and bringing mythical creatures. We embody an enigmatic mercenary trying to restore balance in this land.

The character we take control of is one of the so-called shapeshifters, which allows him to transform into various animals. Each form we take on provides the protagonist with different abilities useful in various situations. For example, as a lynx, we can sneak up behind enemies, while in the skin of a bear we can engage in dynamic clashes, wreaking havoc.

Consequences of our actions

Our adventure leads us through various locations. The game world is made up of both picturesque landscapes and abandoned villages or bustling settlements. We encounter inhabitants of the land, among whom we find people (like merchants or wanderers), but also mythical creatures from Scandinavian and Lappish tales (trolls, spirits).
