In 2005 Fahrenheit, developed by Quantic Dream, was released on PlayStation 2, Xbox and PC. Later on, Quantic Dream created such games like Heavy Rain and Beyond: Two Souls. Fahrenheit was an uncommon adventure game which was warmly received by the players, selling more than 700 000 copies. In 2015 remastered version of the game called Fahrenheit: Indigo Prophecy Remastered was released. The most important change in this version is of course the upgraded graphics. What’s interesting, the player can freely switch between the new and old graphics – it works similarly to The Secret of Monkey Island: Special Edition. In addition to that, the remaster supports Sony and Microsoft controllers.

Story

The title represents the genre of three dimensional adventure games. The action takes place in New York in 2009. The city is shaken by series of brutal murders. Common, lawful citizens kill in public people whom they don’t even know. Then, they have no idea why had they done it. Police is helpless – neither the victims nor the culprits have anything in common, except for the ritual murder itself. Lucas Kane is another person that performed the brutal act. In a restaurant, Kane kills somebody who he doesn’t at all know, and then, while haunted by weird visions, he escapes from police and tries to figure out what had happened and why did he committed a murder.
