Far Cry: Vengeance is the first Wii edition of a popular FPS franchise. Ubisoft crew managed to make an excellent use of the console’s wireless Wiimote and Nunchuk, so that shooting, running, climbing, and swimming was really engaging. All this is set in a tropical setting, well-known to Far Cry enthusiasts.

This game is based on Far Cry Instincts Evolution released on Xbox console, therefore you can get to know further adventures of Jack Carver – an ex-military, well trained in survival skills. The main hero gets falsely accused of murder and has to defend himself against pursuing enemies, and from being a prey - he becomes the hunter.

In the game you move around a big, detailed 3D environment. You can travel either on foot or by various vehicles, e.g. hovercrafts and pickups. You can fight enemies using wide arsenal of weapons, including a machete, grenades, machine rifles, and more.

It is good to learn how to use environmental covers effectively. For example, hiding in bushes helps you perform successful surprise attacks, even when heavily outnumbered. The game features not only single player gameplay, but also multiplayer. The latter includes a game mode called Chaos, in which the last man standing wins.
