Farmbotic

Frozen Way is a Polish company from Krakow. Its portfolio includes both add-ons for the game House Flipper and original productions like Honeycomb: The World Beyond. Among the latter is also Farmbotic described here - a "simulator" of a futuristic farm.

Gameplay

In Farmbotic the action is viewed from a first-person perspective (FPP).

Futuristic farm

The core of the gameplay is running a slightly futuristic farm. Initially, everything related to this is done manually, involving cultivating the land, harvesting mutated plants, breeding animals, and taking care of them. However, over time, we gather resources and acquire assets that allow us to develop the farm. As we progress, we construct new buildings, create infrastructure for transporting raw materials, and eventually produce robots that enable the automation of many processes.

Other activities

All of this is to gain more time for other activities. Farmbotic allows us to delve into the underground where we can search for rare resources. Among them, the radioactive element Rhemidium is prominent, which can be used to create new plant species and produce various machines and upgrades. The extraction of these resources is complicated by the fact that the tunnels are inhabited by hostile creatures, making it unwise to venture too deep without weapons to fend off their attacks.
