GIANTS Software studio is known for supporting each of its works for a long time after their premiere, regularly releasing subsequent DLCs. The same thing happened with the agricultural simulation titled Farming Simulator 25. Highlands Fishing described here is the third DLC (and at the same time the first major expansion) to this production.

New features in the expansion

Farming Simulator 25: Highlands Fishing introduces a new occupation and type of crops, livestock, as well as vehicles and machinery.

Fishing

As the title suggests, the biggest novelty introduced in Farming Simulator 25: Highlands Fishing is a new occupation. In addition to working in the field, at the stable or in the forest we can also focus on fishing now. The add-on allows us to fish both in fish farms and in the open sea. We can cast the fishing rod not only standing on the shore, but also from the deck of our boat.

Scottish landscapes

We can fish either professionally or solely for pleasure. The landscapes that we can admire in the new location encourage this last one. The new area features the Scotland-inspired town of Kinlaig and its hilly surroundings, whose aesthetic values are enhanced by unique architecture, such as stone castles from a hundred years ago.

Onions, cows and new equipment

In addition to fish waiting to be caught, such as salmon and rainbow trout, the DLC also brings a new type of crop, namely onions, as well as previously unavailable farm animals - Scottish Highland cows. The icing on the cake are new vehicles and machines from manufacturers such as Monosem, Can-am, Agri-Spread and GT Burning.
